Yogendra Yadav, well known as a political scientist, political activist or we can say political animal. He is currently serving as a Professor at CSDS and Core Member of Aam Aadmi Party and Sampoorn Kranti Manch.
Mr. Yogendra Yadav is an expert in election studies, survey research, political theories and related subjects. He is working as a senior faculty in Centre for the Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), Delhi since 2004.
He is the founder and convenor of Lokniti Networ (1995 - 2002) as well as founded and directed Lokniti (1997 to 2003). He has been seen on various news channels to be called a experienced psephologist and political commentator.
In year 2011, he took part in anti - corruption movements in all over India later on he moved towards joining Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) with Arvind Kejriwal as an National Executive Member.
In year 2008, Mr. Yadav received Malcolm Adiseshiah Award for Development Studies. He has also got Global South Solidarity Award by The International Political Science Association in recognition of outstanding work on the politics of the developing world in year 2009.
He wrote various books too like State of Democracy in South Asia (2008), Electoral Politics in Indian States (2009) and Democracy in Multi-national Societies (2010). These are the publications and books in which he contributed his writings.
