Vidhu Vinod Chopra born on 5th September 1952 in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India is an Indian Writer, Producer, Director, Editor, Lyricist and Actor. His notable works are Parinda, 1942: A Love Story, Eklavya: The Royal Guard, Munna Bhai M. B. B. S., Lage Raho Munna Bhai and 3 Idiots. He was always interested in filmmaking and seeing his this love towards films, his family supported him and he went to Pune to study Film Direction from Film and Television Institute of India.
Chopra after completing his studies was in search of his big break, and through movie Murder At Monkey Hill he got the chance to work as Director, Writer and Actor in 1976, and with his first movie he won National Film Award for Best Experimental Film, after this in 1978 he directed a documentary named An Encounter With Faces and was nominated in Academy Award for Best Documentary, he got his bollywood debut with movie Sazaye Maut in 1981, he also acted in movie Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro in 1983, his next releases like Khamosh, Parinda, 1942 : A Love Story, kareeb, Mission Kashmir, Munna Bhai M. B. B. S, Parineeta, Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Eklavya: The Royal Guard, 3 Idiots, Ferrari Ki Sawaari, PK, Broken Horses and Wazir made him an ace Filmmaker, and people love watching his films, all his movies contains beautiful message in a beautiful way. He knows how to express with his movies and how to keep people engaged with the story of the movie. His much-awaited movie Sanju is going to release in 2018.
