Robin Venu Uthappa or known to the people by the name Robin Uthappa was born on 11 November 1985 in Kodagu, Karnataka, India. He was born to Roselyn and Venu Uthappa. He is an Indian cricketer and is a quite famous player from Karnataka. He has been playing since more than a decade now. For his tactics of charging the bowler during his one day international debut, he was given a nickname “the Walking Assassin”. He played in the challenger’s trophy in the year 2005; it was then that he came in the public’s attention. He was also a part of the under-19 team who won the Asia’s cup earlier. He is an all-rounder. He is a right hand batsman, a right –hand medium bowler and an occasional wicket keeper. In his IPL career, he has been a part of the Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Pune Warriors and currently he is the player of Kolkata Knight Riders. Uthappa’s one day International debut was in the year 2006; he was successful as a batsman in his international debut. His continuous brilliant performance during his cricket tours had led him a great way in his career.
