Rajkumar Hirani born on 20^th November 1962 in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. Also known as Raju Hirani. This 55 years old man is a Film Director, Film Producer, Screenwriter and Film Editor. His notable works are 3 Idiots, PK and Munna Bhai MBBS. Hirani has done his basic education from St. Francis De’Sales High School, Nagpur, Maharashtra, and completed his graduation from commerce side. His parents wanted him to be a Chartered Accountant but he was always interested in becoming an Actor but destiny wanted something else and he became an ace filmmaker. In his beginning of the career, his film editing career was at a very slow pace, due to which he shifted towards advertising work and was also seen in Fevicol Ad, also seen in the Kinetic Luna ad campaign created by Ogilvy & Mather. But he wanted more, his passion was to make films, he started working with Vidhu Vinod Chopra as Editor, he with him edited the promos and trailers for 1942: A Love Story and also for movie Kareeb. His big break was to edit the movie Mission Kashmir. His first movie as a Director was the biggest hit Munnabhai MBBS starring Sanjay Dutt and Gracy Singh, the movie broke all the records. His second movie Lage Raho Munna Bhai starring Sanjay Dutt and Vidya Balan,  the movie basically promoted Gandhism. His third movie 3 Idiots starring Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, Omi Vaidya and Boman Irani, broke all the records in India and in overseas as well, it became the highest grosser in Hindi Cinema. His last movie a controversial movie PK, starring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma, break all the records of Hirani’s previous movies. His upcoming movie is Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor, it’s a biopic of Sanjay Dutt’s life. As a Producer, Hirani has produced 2 movies PK and Saala Khadoos, and Sanju.
