Diana Mariam Kurian changed her screen name as Nayanthara age 32 years was born on 18th November 1984 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. By profession, she is an Actress and Model. Her parents are father Kurian Kodiyattu, is n Indian Air Force official, and mother Omana Kurian. She completed her education from various parts of India, because of her father’s job, did her schooling from Jamnagar, Gujarat and Delhi, Nayanthara completed her higher education from Balikamadom Girls Higher Secondary School, Tiruvalla and then to complete her degree she studied English Literature from Marthoma College.
She is a well renowned Tamil Actress. She made her debut from movie Manassinakkare in the Malayalam Language in 2003, also in 2005 she did her first film in the Tamil Language, the name of the movie was Ayya. Both of her movies were loved by the audience and was a successful hit. Nayanthara started doing commercial movies as well, like in 2005 she ddid Chandramukhi, in 2007 she did a lead role in Dubai Seenu, in the same year she did 2 more movies which were Tulasi and Billa, next year she got a lead role in Yaaradi Nee Mohini in 2008, she was becoming audience’s favourite after each and every movie she was doing, then in 2009 she did a movie named Aadhavan, then for the year 2010 she chose to do movies named Adhurs, Simha, Boss Engira, and Bhaskaran.
In 2011, she did movies named as Sri Rama Rajyam, for 2013 she decided to do the movies named Raja Rani and Arrambam, in 2015 Nayanthara did 3 back to back movies named Thani Oruvan, Maya and Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, and in 2016 she did 2 movies named Babu Bangaram and Iru Mugan. In 2011 the role of Sita, she portrayed in movie Sri Rama Rajyam, thus role made her win Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actress and also the prestigious state award the Nandi Award for Best Actress. In 2013 Nayanthara again grabbed the Filmfare Award for Best Actress but this time for her Tamil movies named Raja Rani and Naanum Rowdy Dhan. Again in 2017, she was again awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Malayalam Actress for the role she brilliantly portrayed in movie Puthiya Niyamam.
She was born in a Syrian Christian Family but with all the Shuddi Karna procedure, she converted herself to Hinduism at the famous Arya Samaj Temple situated in Chennai in 2011 on 7th August. Her name Nayanthara was officially declared when she converted into Hindu. She was dating popular actor Simbhu but due to some personal reasons, they broke up. In 2010, her relationship with Prabhu Deva came in the limelight but not for good reasons, Prabhu Deva’s wife Latha went to Family Cout and filed a case against his Husband Prabhu as he in the live-in relationship with Nayanthara and wanted him to reunite with him, Latha did everything to patch up with Prabhu, she also said she will go on for Hunger Strike, if Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva gets married to each other. Nayanthara called off her relation with Prabhu as she did want any more problems. Currently, she is in a happy relationship with her movie’s director Vignesh Shivan, who was the director of her movie Naanum Rowdy Thaan. Nayanthara is such an outstanding actress, her acting skills have given her many accolades and win audience’s heart.
