Kollu Ravindra is an Indian politician. He was born on 20th June 1972 in Machilipatnam city of Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. Kollu Subharao is the name of his father. He did his schooling from Nirmala High School, Machilipatnam and went to Hindu College, Machilipatnam to pursue his graduation in B.A. His hobbies are reading books and also have a special interest in social service. His wife’s name is Neelima and has two children whose names are Punith Chandra and Jishant Chandra. He is a member of Telugu Desam Party. He was elected as MLA from Machilipatnam. He is the minister of Andhra Pradesh for BC Welfare and Empowerment, Handlooms & Excise. Earlier in the month of June Ravindra said that government is ready and is committed towards the development of backward caste and Kapus in Andhra Pradesh. He also informed that Andhra’s government has issued GO 17 declaring that 32 castes out of 139 backward class castes of the State are considered the most backward classes and a separate corporation was set up for their development.
