Mladá Boleslav, November 2, 2024 - Škoda Auto has announced the upcoming launches of two eagerly awaited all-electric models as part of its ambitious Next Level Strategy 2030. The new Škoda Enyaq is set to debut in 2025, followed closely by the all-new Škoda Epiq, a compact urban crossover, arriving in 2026.
The new Enyaq builds upon the success of its predecessor, which remains one of Europe’s best-selling BEVs. Known for its spacious design, range capabilities, and affordability, the Enyaq has solidified Škoda’s position as a leader in the EV segment across major markets, including Germany and the Czech Republic. The refreshed model promises enhanced range, upgraded technology, and improved driving dynamics to meet the evolving demands of modern drivers.
Launching in 2026, the Škoda Epiq will bring Škoda’s commitment to accessible and eco-friendly urban mobility to a new audience. This compact urban crossover is tailored for city living, combining a sleek, modern design with smart features ideal for navigating urban environments. Positioned as a more compact alternative to the Enyaq, the Epiq will feature advanced digital and safety systems, aiming to offer a premium yet accessible experience for city dwellers.
These two launches align with Škoda’s ongoing expansion of its EV portfolio, with the brand aiming to become one of Europe’s top five sellers by 2030. The recently launched Škoda Elroq—a compact SUV—has already demonstrated strong market performance, reflecting growing consumer interest in Škoda’s electric offerings. CEO Klaus Zellmer remarked, “Škoda Auto is committed to driving the future of mobility with a diverse lineup that meets the needs of all customers, from urban drivers to long-distance commuters.”
With the Enyaq, Epiq, and upcoming Kylaq for the Indian market, Škoda Auto is well-positioned to serve diverse customer needs while championing sustainable mobility across global markets.
