Kabir Khan born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India is an Indian Film Director, Screenwriter, Producer and Documentary Cinematographer. His parents are father Rasheeduddin Khan and mother Leela and have one elder sister also. Kabir feel in love with TV host Mini Mathur and the couple got married, they are proud parents of children Vivaan and Sairah. He did his graduation from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University and for master’s he attended Jamia Milia Islamia, Delhi.
Kabir in his starting of the career used to direct documentary movies, but got his big break with movie Kabul Express starring John Abraham and Arshad Warsi in 2006, as Director and Writer, the movie won 54th National Film Awards- Indira Gandhi Award for Best Film of a Director. Kabir was touching the skies and became a successful director overnight. Now every producer wanted to approach Kabir to direct films. His second movie as a director was New York in 2009, starring John Abraham, Katrina Kaif and Neil Nitin Mukesh, the movie didn’t do well at box office. But Khan didn’t lose hope and was directing his third movie Ek Tha Tiger in 2012 starring Megastar Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, the movie did a record-breaking performance at the box office, he won many awards for his movie, such as 3rd Big Star Entertainment Award for Most Entertaining Film of the Year.
In 2015 he came up with new movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan and left people amazed with the magic he created through the movie, the movie touched people’s heart and critics appreciated his creative inputs. He also made his debut as the producer with this movie. He won many awards for this movie such as 63rd National Film Awards- Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, Stardust Awards for Best Film of the year, Big Star Entertainment Awards for Most Entertaining Director, Sony Guild award for Best Film and Best Screenplay, Star Screen Awards for Best Film in Popular Choice and Best Director, Zee Cine Award for Best Film. But his next releases like Phantom in 2015 starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif and Tubelight in 2017 starring Salman Khan and Sohail Khan was not able to win audiences, it disappointed critics and his fans also. His upcoming movie as director is 83.
