One such voice is of Jubin Nautiyal. Jubin born on June 14th, 1989, is a playback singer. His parent’s names are Ram and Neena. He belongs to a Garhwali family background.
Since his childhood, he had an inclination towards music and from the age of 15, he started taking his interest seriously. He studied music from Welham Boys, Dehradun and also learnt to play various instruments like guitar, piano, and drums etc. He is a popular singer in the city of Dehradun since the age of 18. He continued his classical training under his teacher Mrs Vandana Shrivastava. In 2007, he went to Mumbai and joined Mithibai College.
After learning classical music he took training in western music from Chennai under the guidance of Veteran Guitarist Prasanna. He entered Bollywood in the year 2012 and since then he has been giving back to back hits. He made his debut with the song ‘Ek Mulaqat’ from the movie ‘Sonali Cable’.
His calm and soothing voice is highly appreciated by everyone because of which he got the chance to work with top music directors. He has worked with Sachin and Jigar, Amit Trivedi, Nadeem Saifi and Jeet Gannguli. He has also sung songs in different languages as he feels that every language gives a new and different experience.
In 2015, he was awarded Rising Musical Star Award at Zee Business Awards and in 2016 he was awarded the Mirchi award for upcoming male vocalist of the year for the song ‘Kuch Toh Bata Zindagi’ from the movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. Recently, he lent his voice to Hrithik Roshan for the movie “Kaabil”. He also sang the “Humma Song” from the movie “Ok Jaanu”.
