Central University of Haryana (CUH) is located in Mahendergarh, Haryana. The University has been situated in an area of 488 acres. Central University of Haryana is also known as CUH in short. Central University of Haryana is a Central University. In 2009, the Government of India under the Central Universities Act (Section 25 of 2009) via an Act of Parliament established the Central University of Haryana. The Central University of Haryana is wholly funded by the University Grant Commission (UGC). Firstly, the University was operating from its temporary campus at Narnaul Govt., College but now it is operating from its permanent campus at Jant-Pali Villages, Mahendergarh, district of Haryana. The logo of the Central University of Haryana displays its belief, object, vision and mission. The University Campus is in rural area. The University administration is very strict on ragging and takes it very seriously. The University has made a “Women Empowerment Cell” to bestow security and protection to the women in the University Campus as well as in the Hostel. The placement record of Central University of Haryana (CUH) has been good till now. The Founder Vice Chancellor of the Central University of Haryana (CUH) is Prof. (Dr.) Mool Chand Sharma. The Chancellor of the University is Prof. (Dr.) M.P. Singh. Central University of Bihar offers postgraduates and PhD programmes to the students. Some of the courses offered by the university are LLM, PhD Management, M.Phil/PhD Economics, MA Economics, M.Com, MBA, M.Phil/PhD Hindi and MA Education. The facilities which are being provided by the university to the students are Book Reading Club, Group for Promotion of Culture, Arts & Heritage, Legal Aid Clinic, Library, Sports, Skill Development & Capacity Building Initiative and Women Empowerment Cell.
