She is the eldest of three daughters her sister Purnima is also an actress. Bhagyashree started her career in Television Serial Kachchi Dhoop directed by Amol Palekar. She came into Limelight after played an amazing role in Blockbuster movie Maine PyarKiya opposite Salman Khan. Some of her Hindi movies are Maine Pyar Kiya, Qaid Mein Hai Bulbul, Paayal, Ghar Aya Mera Pardesi, Sautan Ki Sautan, Hello Girls, and Red Alert etc. Bhagyashree did work in some television serials also named as Honi Anhoni, Kisse Miya BiwiKe, Saraab, CID, Kabhie Kabhie, JP Show, Ujala, Koshish se Kamyabi Tak and much more. Bhagyashree is also the brand ambassador of a media company Shrishti Entertainment with her husband.
