Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya (BPSMV) is a university recognised by UGC under section 2(f) & 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956. It is a State University established by an Act of Haryana Legislature. The University is located in Khanpur Kalan – Gohana (Sonepat), Haryana, India. The University was established in 1919. The motto of the university is “Empowering Women with Education”. In August 2007, Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya started with their academic sessions. The aim of the university is to build women’s absolution and empowerment by giving them reasonable and good education. The University is located in rural area. Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya is also known as BPS Women’s University. The Chancellor of the university is Sh. Jagannath Pahadia who is also the Governor of the Haryana since 27^th July 2009. He was also the Ex – Chief Minister of Rajasthan. The Vice Chancellor of the university is Dr. (Mrs.) Pankaj Mittal.
