Babita Kumari is an Indian female wrestler who got the silver reward at Commonwealth Games in 2010 and also achieved a bronze reward at World Wrestling Tournament ships in 2012. She also achieved the gold reward in Commonwealth Games in 2014. She is the sister of India's first gold medalist i.e. Geeta Phogat, in wrestling at Commonwealth Games and Babita is the daughter of Indian wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and she has a cousin Vinesh Phogat who achieve gold at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Babita, forward with her sister and cousin, have devoted to a change in mentally and attitude towards women and girls in their Village in Haryana. In 2009 Commonwealth Wrestling Tournament ship, Babita achieved the gold reward in the women's freestyle 51 kg division and also achieve the silver-bronze in the women's freestyle division after start defeated by Ifeoma Christi Nwoye of Nigeria in the gold reward match, in 2010 Commonwealth Games.
In 2012 World Wrestling Tournament ship, in the 16th Round, she faced Hsin-Ju Chiu of Taipei whom she exhausted 5:0 and her quarter lasts candidates was Risako Kawai of Japan whom she exhausted 5:0 to qualify for the semifinals and suddenly she lost 1:3 to Jessica Anne Marie MacDonald of Canada in the semifinal round. In 2015 Asian Wrestling Tournament ship, Babita had easily defeated Abdy Kadyrova Elsa of Kyrgyzstan 10-0 in the quarter last round, after taking the superior of Zukhra Mustanova of Uzbekistan by the equal edge in the qualification round.
In 2016 Rio Olympic Games, She became the 3rd and final opening from India in the women's wrestling for Rio Olympics Games and she storm from the Phogat family and will perform India along with his sister Vinesh Phogat. She will be portrayed in the Aamir Khan Starrer film Dangal to be released at the end of 2016.
Babita Kumari Phogat has a height of 1.62 meters and weighs around 55 Kgs. She has black colour eyes and hair. Her zodiac sign is Scorpio and she follows Hindu religion. Babita loves travelling and running.
