Adikavi Nannaya University was established in March 2006 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in the district Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh. This university is named after Nannaya, the earliest known Telugu author. The registrar of the university is Prof. D.S.V.V.D. Prasad. Prof. S.Teki is Principal and Dr.Y. Srinivasa Rao is the principal incharge. It is affiliated to University Grants Commission of India. About 74 postgraduate colleges and 350 degree colleges all over the country are affiliated to this university.. It offers various types of courses such as B.Sc., B.Com, B.A., B.B.M., B.A.OL (Pre Degree) and various other engineering courses. It has modern library and auditorium. There are separate hostels for boys and girls within the campus. This university is also equipped with computer centre and research and development department.
