Sudeep Sanjeev popularly known as Sudeep was born on 2nd September 1973 age 44 years in Shimoga, Mysore State, India, now lives in Karnataka, India. His parents are Sanjeev Manjappa and Saroja. Did his graduation in Bachelor of Industrial and Production Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Banglore.
He was a great sportsperson also, represented his college in under- 17 and under- 19 cricket. He got training in Acting from Roshan Taneja School of Acting in Mumbai, overcame his Shyness. Sudeep made his debut in 1997 with film Thayava, played supporting roles in Prathyartha, and in movie Sparsha, he played a lead role. From the movie, Huchacha gave him his first successful movie in 2001. He made his debut at Bollywood movie Phoonk in 2008. He worked in many Ram Gopal Varma’s movies Rann, Phoonk 2 and Rakt Charitra. He made his debut in Telugu Film Industry with S. S. Rajamouli, Eega in 2012, his performance was highly acclaimed.
In 2013, Bachchan and Varadanayaka his two movies were released. His next movie Maanikya which was the remake of Telugu film Mirchi in 2013. His movie Ranna and also played a cameo role of a Persian Arms Trader in S.S. Rajamouli’s in Baahubali: The Beginning, in 2015. Sudeep has set a benchmark with his performance in following movies Sparsha in 2000, Huchcha in 2001, Nandhi in 2002, Kiccha in 2013, Swathi Muthu in 2003, My Autograph in 2006, Mussanjemaatu in 2008, Veera Madakari in 2009, Just Maath Maathalli in 2010, Kempe Gowda in 2011.
He has been hosting the Kannada Version television reality show Bigg Boss. He is also a Director and producer, he has directed many Kannada Movies My Autograph, No. 73 Shaanthi Nivaasa, Veera Madakari, Just Math Mathalli, Kempe Gowda and Maankiya, also wrote a script for Just Maath Mathalli. He also has his own Production Company named Kiccha Creations, two of his movies are also been produced My Autograph in 2006, No. 73, Shanthi Nivasa in 2007. Sudeep plays Celebrity Cricket League and is also the captain of Karnataka Bulldozers cricket team.
Sudeep met his love Priya Radhakrishnan in 2000 and got married in 2001, they both have an adorable child, Saanvi who was born in 2004. The couple split in September 2015 and then reconciled. Sudeep is described as one of the most talented actors in Kannada Cinema. Also was listed as the Times 25 Most Desirable Men in Bangalore in 2012.
