Yes Bank Account E-Statement: How to Open Email PDF File with Password

How to Easily Open Your YES BANK E-Statement PDF Attachment

If you're a YES BANK customer receiving monthly e-statements for your savings or current account, you might encounter a PDF attachment in your email that requires a password to open. While it's a straightforward process, some customers may find it confusing. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you open the full statement file:

Step 1: Check Your Email Open your email inbox and locate the email from YES BANK containing your e-statement. The email will typically have a subject related to your statement, and the sender will be estatement@yesbank.in.

Step 2: Identify the PDF Attachment Within the email, you'll find an attachment labeled as your e-statement in PDF format. Click on the attachment to begin the process of opening it.

Step 3: Enter the Password When you try to open the PDF attachment, you'll be prompted to enter a password. This password is a combination of your Customer ID and your Date of Birth in numerical format.

Step 4: Format Your Password For example, if your Customer ID is 1234567 and your Date of Birth is 1 February 1990, the numerical format of your Date of Birth will be 01-02-1990. Your password will then be your Customer ID followed by your Date of Birth in numerical format. So, in this example, the password would be 123456701021990.

Step 5: Enter the Password and Open Enter the formatted password into the prompt, and click to open the PDF attachment. Once you've entered the correct password, you should be able to access your full e-statement without any further issues.

Additional Information:

  • Savings account holders can use their Customer ID and Date of Birth in numerical format to generate the password.
  • Joint account holders should use the Primary Customer ID and Date of Birth for accessing the e-statement.
  • Current account holders or non-individual CASA customers should follow the same procedure, using either their set Date of Birth or the default DOB (01-Jan-1800) for generating the password.

We hope this guide has been helpful in clarifying the process of opening your YES BANK e-statement PDF attachment. If you encounter any further difficulties, don't hesitate to reach out to YES BANK's customer support team for assistance.
