WB Govt. Seeks Asset Declarations from 225 Officials
The West Bengal Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department has issued a memorandum requesting 225 Section Officers, recently appointed as Registrar/O.S.D./Special Officer, to submit a self-attested photocopy of their asset declaration receipts as of January 1, 2024.
Vigilance Clearance Delays
- Missing Records: The Vigilance Cell of the Department is currently facing difficulties in issuing vigilance clearance reports for these officers due to the unavailability of their asset declaration records.
- Impact on Promotions & Benefits: The lack of these records is causing inconvenience in processing further promotions or pensionary benefits for these officers.
Call for Submission
- Who's Affected: The memorandum applies to Section Officers appointed as Registrar/O.S.D./Special Officer under two specific notifications: No. 259-PAR(Genl.)/HR/N/G5C-04/2022 Dated 30.01.2024 and No.1000-PAR(Genl.)/HR/N/G5C-03/2024 Dated 15.05.2024
- Submission Process: The officers are required to submit the self-attested photocopy of their asset declaration receipt to the Vigilance Cell through proper channels at the earliest.
- Exemption: Those who have already submitted the documents previously can ignore this request.
