The Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) has released a tentative schedule for the academic session 2024-25. This schedule provides crucial information regarding the registration process, entrance exams, counselling rounds, and the commencement of the academic session. Candidates aspiring to join the CITS program should carefully follow this timeline to ensure a smooth admission process.
The online registration process for candidates begins on 15th June 2024 and will continue until 21st July 2024. Aspiring candidates must complete their registration within this period to be eligible for the admission process.
Candidates can download their hall tickets and participate in the online mock test starting from 28th July 2024. This mock test will help candidates familiarize themselves with the exam format and prepare effectively for the actual entrance test.
The All India Common Entrance Test (AICET) for CITS 2024-25 will be conducted on 4th August 2024. This entrance exam is a crucial step for candidates seeking admission to the CITS program.
The results of the AICET examination will be published on 8th August 2024. Candidates can check their results on the official NIMI portal.
Following the publication of AICET results, the trade-wise merit list will be displayed on the NIMI portal. This merit list will be prepared based on the cut-off marks and will be used for the counselling process.
The first round of online counselling for choice filling will take place between 9th August and 12th August 2024. Candidates must log in and fill in their choices during this period.
Candidates are required to physically verify their documents and correct any discrepancies in their data at the nearest NSTI/RDSDE center from 13th August to 17th August 2024, except on 15th August, which is a public holiday.
An online transfer round will be conducted on 19th August 2024 for candidates who wish to transfer their seats.
The results of the online transfer round will be published on 20th August 2024, followed by the generation of vacancies for the next round.
The second round of online counselling for choice filling will occur from 21st August to 24th August 2024.
Similar to the first round, candidates must verify their documents physically and correct any errors at the nearest NSTI/RDSDE center during this period.
Another online transfer round will be held on 30th August 2024.
The results and subsequent vacancy generation for the 2nd round will be published on 31st August 2024.
The third and final round of online counselling will take place between 1st September and 3rd September 2024.
Candidates selected in the third round must complete physical document verification and data correction at their nearest NSTI/RDSDE center from 4th September to 6th September 2024.
All candidates must physically report to their admitted institutes by 9th September 2024 to confirm their admission.
For those who have not secured a seat, spot round or walk-in admissions, including a physical transfer round, will be conducted from 9th September to 10th September 2024.
The academic session for 2024-25 will commence on 9th September 2024.
The academic session is expected to conclude on 27th June 2025, including 15 days of holidays.
The All India Trade Test (AITT) for the 2024-25 session is scheduled for July or August 2025.
