Applicability:

  • This process applies to establishments within the municipal limits of Punjab, India.

Process:

Gather Required Documents:

Submit Application:

  • Submit the completed forms and information in triplicate to the concerned Labour Inspector of the area.
  • You can also apply online at http://www.pbshops.org/.

Verification and Registration:

  • The Inspector will verify the application and documents within 15 days.
  • Upon successful verification, they will issue a registration certificate.

Renewal:

  • Registration certificates expire on March 31st every year.
  • You have a 30-day grace period for renewal.

Timeline:

  • Registration certificate issuance: Within 15 days of receiving a complete application (Rule 13(1)).
