Register as a Citizen on Bangla Sahayata Kendra (BSK)

The Bangla Sahayata Kendra (BSK) is a government initiative in West Bengal, India, that provides a single window for accessing various citizen-centric services. To avail of these services, citizens can register online through the BSK portal.

Here's how to register as a citizen on BSK:

Visit the BSK portal: Open a web browser and navigate to the official BSK website: https://bsk.wb.gov.in/.

Locate the Citizen Registration section: On the BSK homepage, look for the "Citizen Registration" section. It might be displayed prominently or located under a dedicated "Services" menu.

Enter your mobile number: In the registration form, enter your 10-digit mobile number in the designated field. This mobile number will be used as your login ID for future access.

Get OTP: Click on the "GET OTP" button. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number via SMS.

Verify OTP: Enter the received OTP in the designated field and click on the "VALIDATE OTP" button.

Fill out the registration form: Upon successful OTP verification, the registration form will expand, allowing you to enter your details. These details typically include:

• Alternative Phone Number (Optional)
• Document Type (Select from options like Aadhar Card, Pan Card, etc.)
• Document Number
• Email Address (Mandatory)
• Name (Mandatory)
• Father/Guardian Name (Optional)
• District (Select from the dropdown menu)
• Block/Municipality/Municipal Corporation (Select based on your district choice)
• Post Office (Select based on your block/municipality choice)
• Police Station (Select based on your block/municipality choice)
• House No./Ward No./Village/Para (Mandatory)
• Gender (Select from options like Male, Female, Other)
• Date of Birth (Mandatory)
• Age (This field might be auto-populated based on your Date of Birth)
• SC/ST/OBC/General (Select your category)
• Religion (Select your religion)
• Password (Mandatory - Minimum 6 characters, combination of uppercase, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters)
• Confirm Password (Re-enter your chosen password)

Review and submit: Carefully review all the information you have entered in the registration form. Once you're sure everything is accurate, click on the "SUBMIT" button to complete your citizen registration on BSK.
