The Office of the District Judge of Paschim Bardhaman, English Department, Asansol, has released Order No. 145 (G) on the 20th of July, 2024. This order concerns the engagement of Shri Asit Kumar Dey as a Bench Clerk (Peshkar) in the Additional District & Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court(s) of Paschim Bardhaman, based on Employment Notification No. 01 dated 06.03.2024.
In response to the employment notification, five applications were received by the office. Upon scrutiny, only Shri Asit Kumar Dey was found eligible for the Walk-in-Interview, which was held on 16.05.2024. Shri Dey secured 12 out of 20 marks in the interview.
Following the interview, the Additional District Judge of Asansol and Chairman of the Interview Committee sent the result to the office. The District Recruitment Committee of Paschim Bardhaman reviewed and recommended Shri Asit Kumar Dey for engagement as a Bench Clerk (Peshkar).
A letter was sent to the Judicial Department, Government of West Bengal, seeking necessary approval for Shri Dey's engagement. The approval was granted via letter No. 219-JD/X/16M-64/19 dated 15.07.2024.
Shri Asit Kumar Dey, S/o Late Nira Pada Dey, a VRS holder from CRPF, has been selected for the post of Bench Clerk (Peshkar) on a temporary and contractual basis for one year, subject to satisfactory discharge of duty. The engagement is set to commence on the 1st of August, 2024.
The System Assistant, Paschim Bardhaman, has been directed to upload a copy of this order on the official website of the Judgeship for public information.
This engagement order is a significant step in filling the crucial role of Bench Clerk in the Fast Track Courts under the Judgeship of Paschim Bardhaman, ensuring the smooth functioning of judicial processes.
