Mohanty Takes Helm of West Bengal Fisheries

IAS Officer Smrutiranjan Mohanty appointed as Director of Fisheries with additional charge of Managing Director of State Fisheries Development Corporation

• Managing Director, State Fisheries Development Corporation: He will also be responsible for leading the state-owned enterprise dedicated to promoting and developing fisheries in West Bengal.
• Replacing Dr. Vishwanath: Mohanty takes over these roles from Dr. Vishwanath, IAS, who has been serving in these positions until now.
