New Delhi, July 22, 2024: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), under the authority of the Assistant Commissioner of the Karol Bagh Zone, has announced a public auction of unclaimed goods and materials. The auction is scheduled for August 12, 2024, at 11:30 A.M. at the Municipal Store in Karampura, near Milan Cinema.
The items to be auctioned include a wide array of goods that have been removed from public land, government land, and footpaths under sections 147 and 322 of the DMC Act. These items consist of Rehris (handcarts), miscellaneous wooden articles, iron and steel materials, cylinders, utensils, advertisement boards, counters, crates (Peti), grills, gates, and various plastics. Notably, unclaimed vehicles are excluded from this auction.
The MCD's auction committee retains the right to cancel any bid without providing a reason. This measure ensures transparency and fairness in the auction process.
The auction notice has been widely circulated among all Deputy Commissioners of the zones for maximum publicity. Additionally, the notice has been posted on the MCD website and displayed on various notice boards across the Karol Bagh Zone.
