MCD Invites Applications for Deputy Commissioner Post on Deputation Basis

New Delhi, August 5, 2024: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has issued a circular inviting applications for the position of Deputy Commissioner on a deputation basis. This opportunity is open to eligible officers from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Central Civil Services, State Services, and Union Territories Civil Services. The position falls under Level-13 of the pay matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).

Eligibility Criteria:

Experience:

• Officers of the IAS with a minimum of 11 years of regular service.
• Officers from Central/State/Union Territories Civil Services with at least 5 years of regular service in the pay scale of Level-12.

Age Limit: The maximum age for appointment by deputation should not exceed 56 years as of the closing date for applications.

Required Documentation: Applications must include:

• Verified Bio-data and Application
• ACRs/APARs for the last five years
• Integrity Certificate
• Vigilance Clearance with a statement confirming that no disciplinary or criminal proceedings are pending or contemplated
• Cadre Clearance
• List of major/minor penalties, if any, imposed during the last ten years, or a No Penalty Certificate.

Application Process:

Interested and eligible officers are requested to submit their applications, along with the required documents, to the Director (Personnel) at the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, 22nd Floor, Dr. S.P. Mukherjee Civic Centre, J.L. Nehru Marg, New Delhi-110002. The applications must be submitted within 30 days from the date of this circular.
