MCD Horticulture Department Invites Bids for Development of Millennium Park-I, Chirag Delhi

New Delhi, August 12, 2024 – The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has issued an online tender inviting experienced and financially sound contractors to bid for the development of Millennium Park-I in Chirag Delhi Village under the South Zone. The project, which is being funded through the Rural Development Fund, is a key initiative aimed at enhancing green spaces in the city.

The tender, designated as NIT No. 4 under the Horticulture Department (HQ), was published on August 9, 2024, and is now open for submission. Bid Submission Process:

The tender follows a single-stage, two-bid system where technical and financial bids are submitted separately. Contractors must submit their technical bids online by the deadline, with the technical bid opening scheduled for August 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Financial bids will be opened on August 29, 2024, at 3:00 PM (tentative) for those who qualify based on technical criteria.

To qualify, bidders must meet specific financial and technical requirements, including:

• A minimum financial turnover of 30% of the estimated project cost over the last three years.
• Experience in similar works, with the completion of at least three projects worth ₹77.84 lakh each, two projects worth ₹116.76 lakh each, or one project worth ₹155.67 lakh in the last seven years.
• A banker's certificate or a net worth certificate confirming the financial stability of the bidding firm.

The MCD has emphasized that only registered and non-blacklisted contractors are eligible to participate in this tender. New bidders must register on the Central Public Procurement (CPP) portal to submit their bids.
