MCD Horticulture Department Invites Bids for Development of Millennium Park-I, Chirag Delhi

New Delhi, August 12, 2024 – The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has issued an online tender inviting experienced and financially sound contractors to bid for the development of Millennium Park-I in Chirag Delhi Village under the South Zone. The project, which is being funded through the Rural Development Fund, is a key initiative aimed at enhancing green spaces in the city.

The tender, designated as NIT No. 4 under the Horticulture Department (HQ), was published on August 9, 2024, and is now open for submission. To qualify, bidders must meet specific financial and technical requirements, including:

  • A minimum financial turnover of 30% of the estimated project cost over the last three years.
  • Experience in similar works, with the completion of at least three projects worth ₹77.84 lakh each, two projects worth ₹116.76 lakh each, or one project worth ₹155.67 lakh in the last seven years.
  • A banker's certificate or a net worth certificate confirming the financial stability of the bidding firm.

The MCD has emphasized that only registered and non-blacklisted contractors are eligible to participate in this tender. New bidders must register on the Central Public Procurement (CPP) portal to submit their bids.
