ICFRE Dehradun Invites Applications for Green Credit Programme Consultant

The Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change, Government of India, is inviting applications for the position of Consultant (MIS) under the Green Credit Programme (GCP). The role is contractual, initially for two years, with a potential extension based on the program's needs.

Consultant (MIS) Position Details

Job Description and Responsibilities
ICFRE seeks a qualified consultant to manage the Green Credit Programme's MIS and related activities. The consultant will play a critical role in updating, monitoring, and generating reports within the program. Key responsibilities include:

• Design and Develop: Assist in designing and operationalizing the Green Credit Programme’s web portal.
• Data Management: Oversee data uploaded by various user agencies and ensure its accuracy and integrity.
• Report Generation: Regularly generate and document reports to track program performance.
• Monitoring and Improvement: Continuously monitor the portal’s performance and identify opportunities for enhancement.

Position Details:

• Number of Posts: 1 (Consultant - MIS)
• Salary: ₹80,000/- per month
• Duration: 2 years (initially), extendable as per requirement
• Location: ICFRE, Dehradun

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must meet the following qualifications and experience requirements:

• Educational Qualification:
  • BE/B. Tech in Computer Science/IT or MCA from a recognized university.
  • Desirable: M. Tech in a relevant field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years in developing web portals and MIS maintenance.
  • Proficiency in NodeJS, ReactJS, and Postgres Database.
  • Experience in data analysis tools and report generation.
