Step-by-Step Instructions for Using the RVSF Portal

Step 1: Vehicle Owner Login

  1. Access the Portal: Visit the RVSF portal and log in using your credentials.
  2. Enter Details: Provide your vehicle number and Aadhaar number, then generate and confirm the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

Step 2: Submit a Scrapping Application

  1. Access the Application: After logging in, click on "Scrap Your Vehicle" under the Services tab.
  2. Enter Vehicle Details: Provide the last 5 digits of your vehicle’s chassis number and retrieve the details.
  3. Complete Form 2:
    • Enter your registered mobile number and email ID, then verify using OTP.
    • Fill in your address, PAN number, bank details, and select the scrap center.
    • Upload the required documents and submit the form.

Step 3: RVSF Operator Login and Application Verification

  1. Operator Login: RVSF operators can log in and access pending applications under the "Application Verification" section.
  2. Review Applications: Select the registration number and review the details. Approve or reject the application based on the provided information.

Step 4: Generate Certificates

  1. Certificate of Deposit (COD): Once the application is approved, generate the COD by entering the application number, payment details, and selecting the payment date.
  2. Digitally Sign COD: Connect your Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) device, upload the COD, and digitally sign it.
  3. Certificate of Vehicle Scrapping (CVS): After the vehicle is scrapped, generate the CVS by uploading chassis and engine cutout photographs.
