How to Use the Browser to Unlock Your Password

Unlocking your account password through a browser is now easier with the self-service password automation system. This step-by-step guide ensures a smooth process for state personnel, contractors, and vendors who need to regain access to internal State systems.

Step-by-Step Instructions to Unlock Your Password

1. Click Password Reset

Begin by navigating to the Password Reset page in your browser.

2. Enter Your UserID

• Enter your UserID in the designated field.
• Check the box labeled I’m not a robot to verify your identity.
• Click Next to proceed.

3. Send Verification Code

• Click Send Verification Code.
• Check your registered mobile device for the code (sent via SMS).
• Click Next to proceed.

4. Enter the Verification Code

• Input the Verification Code received on your mobile device.
• Click Next to confirm your identity.

5. Unlock Your Account

• On the next screen, click Unlock Account.
  • Important: Do NOT enter a new password unless you want to change your current password.
• Once the account is unlocked, proceed to log in.
