How to Use Taxpayer Search on e-Way Bill System

The Taxpayer Search feature on the e-Way Bill System allows users to find information related to GST Identification Numbers (GSTIN). This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to utilize this feature effectively.

Step 1: Access the Taxpayer Search Page

1. Visit the e-Way Bill System Website: Go to ewaybill.nic.in/Others/TaxPayerSearch.aspx.

Step 2: Input GSTIN and Captcha

Enter GSTIN: Input the GSTIN for which you want to search information into the provided field.

Enter Captcha: Fill in the characters displayed in the Captcha image into the corresponding field.

Refresh Captcha (if needed): If the Captcha is unclear, click on the refresh button to load a new Captcha image.

Step 3: Initiate Search

1. Click on Search: After entering the GSTIN and Captcha, click on the "Search" button to proceed.

Step 4: Review Results

Review the Result: The system will display information related to the entered GSTIN, if available.

Interpretation: You can view details such as registration status, compliance status, and other relevant information associated with the GSTIN.
