How to Search for Registered Doctors in the Indian Medical Register
The Indian Medical Register (IMR) provides information about registered doctors across India. You can search for a doctor's details by name, registration year, registration number, state medical council, or using advanced search options. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to use the search functionality:
Step 1: Access the Indian Medical Register Portal
- Open your web browser and navigate to the Indian Medical Register.
Step 2: Choose the Search Criteria
You can search the IMR using various criteria, including the doctor's name, registration year, registration number, state medical council, or an advanced search option. Select the appropriate tab based on your preferred search method:
Name:
- Click on the 'Name' tab.
- Enter the doctor's name in the 'Doctor Name' field.
- Click 'Submit' to search.
Year of Registration:
- Click on the 'Year of Registration' tab.
- Enter the registration year in the 'Year of Registration' field.
- Click 'Submit' to search.
Registration Number:
- Click on the 'Registration Number' tab.
- Enter the registration number in the 'Registration No' field.
- Click 'Submit' to search.
State Medical Council:
- Click on the 'State Medical Council' tab.
- Select the state medical council from the dropdown list.
- Click 'Submit' to search.
Advance Search:
- Click on the 'Advance Search' tab.
- Enter any combination of the following fields:
- Doctor Name
- Registration Number
- Year of Registration
- State Medical Council
- Click 'Submit' to search.
Black List Doctor:
- Click on the 'Black List Doctor' tab to view the list of blacklisted doctors.
Step 3: View Search Results
After submitting your search criteria, the results will be displayed in a table format. The table typically includes the following details:
- Sl. No.
- Year of Info
- Registration Number
- State Medical Councils
- Name
- Father's Name
- Action
You can click on the 'Action' button to view more details about the doctor.
