How to Reset Your Password on Charities Register

If you've forgotten your password for your Charities Register account, don't worry. Follow these steps to reset it:

Step 1: Visit the Forgotten Password Page

Open your web browser and navigate to the Forgotten Password page of the Charities Register. You can access it directly using the following link: Forgotten Password.

Step 2: Enter Your Charity Registration (CC) Number

On the Forgotten Password page, you'll see a field labeled "Registration Number." Enter your charity registration (CC) number. If you're unsure about your charity registration number, you can find it by searching for the name of your charity on the Charities Register.

Step 3: Submit Your Request

After entering your registration number, click on the button to submit your password reset request.

Step 4: Check Your Email

Charities Register will send an email to the primary contact provided by your charity. This email will contain a link that you can click on to change your password. If you're unsure who the primary contact for your charity is, you can contact Charities Services on 0508 CHARITIES (0508 242 748) or email them at info@charities.govt.nz.

Step 5: Click on the Reset Password Link

Open the email from Charities Register and click on the provided link to reset your password.

Step 6: Set Your New Password

Follow the instructions on the password reset page to set a new password for your Charities Register account.

Step 7: Log In With Your New Password

After successfully resetting your password, return to the Charities Register login page and log in to your account using your new password.
