How to Register on the National Portal of India

The National Portal of India provides a centralized platform for accessing information and services from various government departments. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you create a new account on the portal.

Step 1: Access the Registration Page

  1. Open your web browser and navigate to the National Portal of India registration page.

Step 2: Fill Out the Registration Form

Username:

  • Enter a unique username. Note that spaces are allowed, but punctuation marks are restricted to periods, hyphens, apostrophes, and underscores.

E-mail Address:

  • Provide a valid email address. This email will be used for receiving notifications, new passwords, and other communications from the portal.
