How to Register on the Family ID Portal of Uttar Pradesh

The Family ID portal by the Government of Uttar Pradesh is designed to streamline the registration and verification of family members. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to register your family on the portal.

Step 1: Access the Portal

Open your web browser and go to the Family ID registration page: Family ID Registration.

Step 2: Fill in the Registration Form

Name:

• Enter your full name in the provided field.

Mobile:

• Enter your Aadhaar-registered mobile number. This number will be used for OTP verification.

Step 3: Read the Instructions

Make sure you read the instructions carefully before proceeding. Here are the key points:

Mandatory Aadhaar Cards:

• All family members must have Aadhaar cards.

Mobile Number Linkage:

• Each family member’s mobile number must be linked with their Aadhaar card for e-KYC via OTP.

Existing Ration Card Holders:

• Families with a ration card can use their ration card number as their Family ID. They do not need to create a new Family ID. After registration, the Family ID can be downloaded or printed by entering the Aadhaar number.

Unique Family Membership:

• A person already linked to a family cannot be added to another family.

Accurate Information:

• Ensure all details are correctly filled for easy verification.

Track Application Status:

• You can track the status of your Family ID application using the 15-digit application number.

Step 4: Submit the Form

• After filling in the required details, click the submit button. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number for verification.

Step 5: Verify via OTP

• Enter the OTP received on your mobile to complete the verification process.

Step 6: Complete Registration

• Upon successful OTP verification, your registration will be complete. You will receive a confirmation message and an application number.

• Existing Ration Card Holders: They can download/print the Family ID by entering their Aadhaar number after registration.
