Reaching TIFR, Mumbai: Your Transportation Options

The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) is located in Navy Nagar, Colaba, Mumbai. Here are your transportation options from various arrival points:

From Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM):

• Taxi:
  • Travel Time: 50-120 minutes (depending on traffic).
  • Cost: ₹800-1000.
  • Prepaid Taxi: Recommended. Counters are located before exiting the arrival hall. Specify "Navy Nagar, Colaba" as your destination.

  1. Take a local train to Churchgate station.
  2. From Churchgate, take a taxi or bus route 137 to Navy Nagar.

From Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT):

• Local Train + Taxi/Bus:
  1. Walk to Tilak Nagar station and take a local train to CSMT.
