How to Reach IIIT Delhi: A Step-by-Step Guide

Getting to IIIT Delhi: Your Transportation Options

IIIT Delhi's transit campus is conveniently located in Okhla Phase III, near Nehru Place.

 

Here's how you can reach it using various modes of transport:

From Nehru Place (By Car):

1. Head out of Nehru Place onto the Outer Ring Road.   
2. Turn right under the first flyover (it's a one-way).
3. Drive for about 300 meters and turn left under the Govind Puri Metro station (look for an IIITD sign).
4. At the 'Y' intersection, take the left road.
5. Follow the signs for IIIT Delhi. The main gate is approximately 500 meters further.   

By Metro:

1. Take the Delhi Metro and get off at the Govind Puri Metro Station.
2. From the station, the IIIT Delhi main gate is about 1 kilometer away.
   • You can walk (a pleasant stroll on a nice day) or take a rickshaw.

From New Delhi Railway Station:

1. Go to the New Delhi Metro Station inside the railway station.   
2. Take the Yellow Line towards HUDA City Centre and get off at Rajiv Chowk.
3. Switch to the Violet Line towards Kashmere Gate and get off at Mandi House.
4. From Mandi House, change to the Violet Line towards Raja Nahar Singh and get off at Govind Puri.
5. Follow the walking or rickshaw directions from Govindpuri Metro Station mentioned above.

Important Note: You can purchase a direct metro ticket from New Delhi Metro Station to Govindpuri Metro Station.
