Step-by-Step Guide to Paying Court Fees Online

Step 1: Open the eCourts Payment Portal

Visit the official eCourts payment portal by entering the URL: https://pay.ecourts.gov.in/epay/.

Step 2: Enter Your Details

Fill in the required details, including your mobile number. This is crucial for generating the OTP (One Time Password).

Step 3: Generate and Verify OTP

Click on the "Generate OTP" button. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Enter this OTP in the provided field and press the "VERIFY" button.

Step 4: Select Payment Method

Choose your preferred payment method from the options available. Ensure you check the box at the bottom to accept the terms and conditions.

Step 5: Submit Your Details

Click on the "SUBMIT" button to proceed with the payment process.

Step 6: Confirm and Proceed

Press "OK" to confirm your details. A new screen displaying the court fees amount will appear.

Step 7: Enter Contact Information

Enter your mobile number and email ID, then press "PROCEED".

Step 8: Choose Payment Mode

Select any mode of payment you prefer. For demonstration purposes, UPI/QR code is used.

Step 9: Make Payment

You can either:

  • Enter your UPI ID and proceed for payment.
  • Select the "Show QR code" option to generate a QR code for payment.

Step 10: Scan QR Code

If you chose the QR code option, scan the QR code displayed on your screen using any UPI app like BHIM, Google Pay, or PhonePe.

Step 11: Confirm Payment

Check the amount and press "CONTINUE".

Step 12: Complete Transaction

After scanning the QR code and making the payment through your UPI app, the screen will display "Transaction Successful". You can now print the court fee payment receipt (acknowledgment).
