This guide covers three main methods for device initialization: using the storage device menu, ConfigTool, and SmartPSS. Device Initialization

1. Using the Storage Device Menu

Initializing the Current Device

1. Power on your NVR: The device will boot into the initialization interface.
2. Set the Admin Password:
   • Username: The default username is admin.
   • Password: Create a strong password (8-32 characters) with a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters.
   • Password Hint: Set up a prompt question to remind you of your password.
