How to Enroll in Sanskaar Rangtoli (T.I.E.CO.) Sunday Club 2024-2025: Part I

Sanskaar Rangtoli (T.I.E.CO.), affiliated with the National School of Drama (NSD), is excited to announce the commencement of the Sunday Club Part I for the year 2024-2025. This program is an extension of the Summer Theatre Workshop and is designed for children aged 8 to 17 years who have already participated in the Summer Theatre Workshop conducted by the TIE Company of NSD. The Sunday Club will start in the last week of August 2024 and run on Saturdays or Sundays, with daily sessions during the winter vacation in December/January. The program will culminate with a festival of devised performances in January 2025.

Program Overview

• Age Group: 8 to 17 years (upper age limit as on 12th August 2024)
• Duration:
  • Weekly on Saturdays or Sundays starting the last week of August 2024.
  • Daily sessions during the winter vacation in December/January.
  • Final performances in the second/third week of January 2025.
• Location: National School of Drama or other locations in Delhi.
• Focus: Devising performances through improvisation, enhancing play-making and performance skills.

1. Eligibility Criteria

• Only children who participated in the Summer Theatre Workshop conducted by the TIE Company of NSD are eligible to apply.
• The upper age limit is determined as of the start of the online application (12th August 2024).

3. Fee Structure

• General Category:
  • Processing Fee: Rs. 150/-
  • Workshop Fee: Rs. 8,000/-
• SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/EWS Categories:
  • Processing Fee: Rs. 150/-
  • Concessional Workshop Fee: Rs. 2,000/-
  • Note: OBC(NCL) certificates must be issued on or after 1st April 2021 to be valid for concession. No refunds will be provided if the certificate is invalid.
• BPL Category:
  • No fees are required upon production of valid BPL documentation from the Competent Authority.
• Important: Workshop fees are non-refundable.

4. Program Highlights

• The Sunday Club Part I is designed to enhance children's understanding of the process of devising a performance.
• The program emphasizes developing skills in play-making and performing through improvisational activities.
• The culmination of the workshop will be a festival where children will showcase the performances they have developed.

5. Important Notes

• Certificate Validity: Ensure that any OBC(NCL) certificate submitted is issued after 1st April 2021. Certificates issued before this date will result in the cancellation of the application, and no fee refund will be provided.
• Admission Basis: Admission is strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, so early application is advised.
