To utilize the Mitigation Action Assessment Protocol (MAAP), you need to register an account using your email address. Registration is free of charge. This guide will cover the following:

How to Register/Create a New Account
Go to the Member Portal Page
- Start by navigating to the Member Portal page of MAAP.
Select to Register a New Email Account
- At the bottom of the Sign-In box, choose the option to register a new email account. The Create Profile form will appear.
Enter Your Email Address
- Input your email address into the form.
Send Verification Code
- Click "Send verification code." You will receive an email with a verification code.
Verify the Code
- Return to the Member Portal and enter the received code into the Create Profile form.
- Click "Verify Code" to proceed.
Complete the Profile Form
- Fill in the additional requested information. You can change the email address for this profile if needed.
- Once done, click "Create."
Account Creation Confirmation
- Once your user account is created, you will be redirected to the target application with logged-in user details.
How to Register Using a Social Account (Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Microsoft)
Select Social Account Login
- From the Member Portal Login page, choose a social account login option (e.g., Google).
Redirect to Social Account Login Page
- You will be redirected to the respective social account login page.
Enter Email Address
- Enter your email address. If you have multiple accounts, select the appropriate one.
Enter Password
- Provide your password and click "Sign-in."
Grant Permission
- If authentication is successful, grant permission to the World Bank Group to access basic details from your social account.
- Click "Allow."
Complete Registration Form
- After user consent, the Member Portal registration form will be displayed. Provide the required details and select "Continue."
Logout
- Once done, click "Logout."
How to Reset a Forgotten Password
Select Forgot Your Password?
- On the login page, select "Forgot your password?" to be presented with the Forgot Password screen.
Enter Registered Email Address
- Input the email address registered with The World Bank.
Send Verification Code
- Click "Send verification code." A verification code will be sent to your email.
Return to Forgot Password Screen
- Return to the Forgot Password screen and enter the verification code received.
Verify the Code
- Select "Verify Code." After verification, two fields will be displayed: New Password and Confirm New Password.
Enter New Password
- Enter your new password in both fields and select "Continue." Your password will be reset, and you will be redirected to the Member Portal site.
