If you've recently made a transaction related to your vehicle, such as payment of taxes or fees, you may want to check the status of that transaction to ensure it has been processed successfully. The Vahan portal provides a convenient way to do this online. Follow these steps to check your transaction status:
Go to the Vahan portal website by clicking on the following link: Vahan Portal. This will take you to the Transaction Status page.
On the Transaction Status page, you will see a form where you can enter the transaction details. The following fields are available:
Select the appropriate search criteria based on the information you have available. You can search by Transaction ID, Payment ID, Bank Ref. No., Registration No., or GRN No.
Enter the relevant information in the corresponding field based on your chosen search criteria.
After entering the required information, click on the "Search" button. This will initiate the search process and retrieve the transaction details based on the information provided.
Once the search is complete, the transaction details will be displayed on the screen. This may include information such as Vehicle No., Application No., Payment Date, Payment Gateway, Amount, Status, and Status Description.
Review the transaction status to ensure that it has been processed successfully. If there are any discrepancies or issues, you may need to take further action or contact the appropriate authorities for assistance.
If you need to keep a record of the transaction details for your records, you can either print the page or save it as a PDF for future reference.
