Changing your password through Rocklin Unified School District's Self Service Reset Password Management (SSRPM) is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure your password is updated correctly. Note that changing your password through SSRPM will also update your Google password.

Prerequisite

  • You must know your current password to proceed with the change.

Steps to Change Your Password

Open Your Browser

  • Launch a web browser such as Chrome or Firefox.

Navigate to the RUSD Portal

  • In the URL field, type “id.rocklinusd.org” and press Enter.

Access the Change Password Option

  • On the portal page, click on “Change password.”

Enter Your Credentials

  • Type in your username and current password, then click “Next.”

Set a New Password

  • Follow the on-screen guidelines to enter your new password. Ensure it meets all specified criteria for security.
  • After entering the new password, click “Change.”

Important Password Guidelines

  • Length: Ensure your new password is of sufficient length as specified in the guidelines.
  • Complexity: Include a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
  • Avoid Common Passwords: Do not use easily guessable passwords such as "password123" or "qwerty."
  • Personal Information: Avoid using personal information such as your name, birthday, or phone number.

Confirmation

Once you complete these steps, your password will be successfully changed. Remember, this change will also update your Google account password linked with Rocklin Unified School District.
