Step-by-Step Guide:
Accessing Classlink Launchpad:
- Begin by signing into the PV LaunchPad (Classlink).
- Navigate to the account icon located in the top right corner of the screen and click on it.
Navigating to Settings:
- From the dropdown menu, select "Settings."
Changing Your Password:
- In the Settings menu, locate the "Recovery" tab.
- Scroll down and find the blue "Reset Password" button.
- You'll be prompted to enter your old password.
- Then, type your new password following the complexity rules provided.
- Confirm the new password by entering it again.
- Finally, click "Save" to update your password.
Setting Up Password Recovery Options:
- Before completing the process, set up your Launchpad Password Recovery options.
- Under the Recovery tab, choose one or more options for password recovery, such as email (using an alternative email account).
Managing App Passwords:
- To view and manage saved passwords in Classlink, go to the "App Passwords" tab in Settings.
- Passwords marked as "Not Set" use Google Single Sign-On (SSO) and will not change with your new password.
- If you want these passwords to match your new Google password, edit them individually by clicking the pencil icon.
Additional Considerations:
- Changing your Classlink password updates Google SSO-related sites only.
- For other sites, you'll need to update passwords manually on each site and in Classlink if needed.
- Passwords saved in Windows should prompt updates as you visit corresponding sites.
