• Start by visiting the official Parivahan portal at https://parivahan.gov.in.

• Choose "Vehicle Related Services" from the available options.

Enter Vehicle Registration Number:

• Carefully enter your vehicle registration number to ensure accuracy.

Click on Proceed Button:

• After entering the registration number, click on the "Proceed" button to move forward.

Select RC Release:

• Choose the "RC Release" option from the menu.

Enter Vehicle Details:

• Input your vehicle’s chassis number and your mobile number.
• Double-check these details to ensure they are correct before proceeding.

Generate and Enter OTP:

• Click on "Generate OTP" to receive a One-Time Password on your mobile.
• Enter the OTP to verify your mobile number and log in to the portal.

Show Details:

• After entering the OTP, click on "Show Details" to view the release details, including the release date, approved by, file reference number, and reason for release.

Crosscheck and Confirm Details:

• Crosscheck the details of documents such as the Surrendered RC, Permit, Fitness Certificate, and Tax Exemption details to ensure everything is accurate.

Make Payment:

• Click on the "Save" button to confirm your payment.

• Once payment is successful, a receipt will be generated.
