• Start by visiting the official Parivahan portal at https://parivahan.gov.in.

Enter Vehicle Registration Number:

• Enter your vehicle registration number accurately.

Click on Proceed Button:

• After entering the registration number, click on the "Proceed" button to move forward.

Select Online Services:

• From the menu, choose "Conversion of Vehicle."

Confirmation:

• Tick the checkbox to confirm your selection and proceed.

Enter Vehicle Details:

• Input your vehicle’s registration number, chassis number, and mobile number.
• Ensure that these details are correct before proceeding.

Generate and Enter OTP:

• Click on "Generate OTP" to receive a One-Time Password on your mobile.
• Enter the OTP to verify your mobile number and continue.

Show Details:

• After entering the OTP, click on "Show Details" to view your vehicle’s current registration details.

Crosscheck and Enter Conversion Details:

• Crosscheck the owner and insurance details displayed.
• Enter the converted vehicle type, class, and fuel category as required.

Make Payment:

• Click on the "Payment" button and proceed to make the online payment.
• Tick the checkbox indicating that you accept the terms and conditions, then click "Continue" to finalize the payment.

Final Steps:

• Once payment is successful, a receipt will be generated.
• In case of payment failure or pending status, follow the prompts to either apply again or check the transaction status.
