Haryana Government Invites Applications for Secretary of Vidhan Sabha

he Government of Haryana's Political and Parliamentary Affairs Department has released an advertisement (No. 1-Pol Br/2024) inviting applications for the position of Secretary of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha. The recruitment is for one post, to be filled on a regular basis through direct recruitment. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by September 16, 2024.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

The following qualifications and experience are required for the position:

Educational Qualification:

• The candidate must be a Law Graduate (Professional).

Experience:

• At least eight years of experience in a supervisory role involving practical knowledge of Secretariat Administration, Parliamentary Procedure, and Rules of the Legislative Assembly.
• Alternatively, ten years of practice at the bar in lower courts or five years of practice at the bar in the High Court is also acceptable.

Language Proficiency:

• Knowledge of Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric or higher education level.

Application Process

• Submission Deadline: Applications must reach the Under Secretary, Political Services in the Political and Parliamentary Affairs Department by registered post on or before September 16, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
• Mode of Application: Applications submitted via any mode other than registered post will not be accepted and will be rejected without notice.
• Age Limit: Applicants should be at least 17 years old but not older than 45 years as of the last date of application submission. Age relaxation may be provided as per government norms.
