The COD Web platform offers robust security features to protect user accounts and data. This guide outlines the steps to reset your password, unlock your account, and manage your Challenge Questions Profile. Following these steps will ensure a seamless experience when using the platform.

Key Features of the COD Web Platform

1. Challenge Questions Profile Setup:
   • Users set up security questions and answers for future password resets and account unlocks.
2. Reset Password:
   • Users can reset their password by answering security questions.
3. Unlock Account:
   • Locked accounts can be unlocked by correctly answering security questions.
4. Update Your Profile:
   • Users can update their email address and Challenge Questions Profile.
5. Administrator Updates:
   • Security administrators can manage user profiles, except for updating challenge question answers.

Challenge Questions Profile Setup

When Is This Required?

Users without a Challenge Questions Profile will be redirected to the setup screen upon logging in for the first time.

Steps:

1. Log in with your username and password.
2. On the Set Challenge Questions screen, complete the following:
   • Choose 3 different questions from the predefined list.
   • Provide 3 unique answers (not case-sensitive).
3. Click Submit.
4. The questions and answers will be saved, and you will be redirected to the Welcome screen.

How to Reset Your Password

Steps:

1. Go to the Password Reset screen.
2. Enter your username and click Reset Password.
3. Answer the 3 challenge questions correctly:
   • Note: Answers are not case-sensitive.
4. If all answers are correct:
   • A temporary password will be emailed to your registered email address.
5. If any answers are incorrect:
   • You have 3 attempts to answer correctly.
   • After the third failed attempt, your Challenge Questions Profile will be locked.

• Contact your security administrator to unlock your profile.
