Fedbank Financial Services Limited (FEDFINA) has announced the appointment of M/s KKC & Associates, LLP, Chartered Accountants (formerly known as Khimji Kunverji & Co., LLP) as its Statutory Auditors. The appointment will be for a period of three years, commencing from the conclusion of the company's forthcoming 29th Annual General Meeting for the year 2024 and extending until the conclusion of the 32nd Annual General Meeting for the year 2027.
This decision was made by the Board of Directors in their meeting held on July 16, 2024, based on the recommendation of the Audit Committee. However, the appointment is subject to the approval of the shareholdersin the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The appointment of M/s KKC & Associates, LLP is in accordance with the guidelines for Appointment of Statutory Central Auditors (SCAs)/Statutory Auditors (SAs) of Commercial Banks (excluding RRBs), UCBs, and NBFCs (including HFCs) issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013.
M/s. KKC & Associates, LLP is a well-established firm with extensive experience in various sectors, including Banking & Financial Services, Manufacturing & Services, Taxation, and Information Technology. The firm has a valid Peer Review certificate issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), as required under SEBI regulations.
