Note: For High Net Worth (HNW) customers, including Classic, Preferred, and Imperia program members, these debit cards are free as long as the customer remains in the respective program. Charges for Corporate Salary customers depend on their corporate eligibility.

Replacement Charges

If you need to replace or reissue your debit card, the following charges apply:

  • Replacement/Reissuance: Rs. 200 + applicable taxes

Charges for Phased-Out Debit Card Variants

Certain older debit card variants still have applicable charges:

  • Gold Debit Card: Rs. 750 + applicable taxes
  • Titanium Royale Debit Card: Rs. 400 + applicable taxes
  • Titanium Debit Card: Rs. 250 + applicable taxes
  • Pro-Gold Debit Card: Rs. 250 + applicable taxes
  • EasyShop Debit Card: Rs. 150 + applicable taxes
  • NRO Debit Card: Rs. 150 + applicable taxes

Important: These fees are subject to revision, with new rates effective from 1st August 2024.

Other Important Charges

Domestic Merchant Outlets and Websites

HDFC Bank does not charge for transactions made at domestic merchant locations and websites using the debit card. However, certain merchants, like IRCTC or railway stations, may apply transaction charges as per industry standards.

  • Railway Stations: Flat charge of Rs. 30 per ticket + 1.8% of the transaction amount
  • IRCTC: Transaction charge of 1.8% of the transaction amount

ATM Transaction Charges

Current Accounts:

  • Unlimited free transactions at HDFC Bank ATMs
  • Charges for other bank ATMs: Rs. 21 + applicable taxes for both cash withdrawals and non-financial transactions

International ATMs:

  • Balance Enquiry: Rs. 25 + applicable taxes (unmanaged segment), Rs. 15 + applicable taxes (managed segment)
  • Cash Withdrawal: Rs. 125 + applicable taxes (unmanaged segment), Rs. 110 + applicable taxes (managed segment)
  • Cross-Currency Mark-up: 3.5% + applicable taxes on foreign currency transactions (0.99% for Infiniti Debit Card holders)

Note: The cross-currency mark-up is a fee charged for transactions conducted in foreign currencies, with the exchange rate based on the VISA/MasterCard wholesale rate at the time of the transaction.

Decline Charges for Insufficient Balances

For transactions declined due to insufficient funds at non-HDFC Bank ATMs or international merchant outlets, a charge of Rs. 25 + applicable taxes per transaction will be levied.
