Regulations on Domestic LPG Connections

According to the Gas Control Order, a household is permitted to have only one LPG connection. This rule applies regardless of whether the connection is subsidized or non-subsidized.

    • A household can have only one LPG connection under the Gas Control Order.
    • This connection can be either subsidized or non-subsidized but not both.

Understanding Subsidized and Non-Subsidized LPG Cylinders

Subsidized LPG Cylinders:

  • These cylinders are provided at a reduced price, subsidized by the Government of India.
  • Households are limited to nine subsidized refills per financial year.
