Bridge Tender Notice Issued for Restoration Work in Bankura

Assistant Engineer, Bankura East Highway Sub-Division invites sealed tenders for restoration work on Bankura Saltora Road.

The Assistant Engineer, Bankura East Highway Sub-Division, under the Public Works (Roads) Directorate, has released a bridge tender notice for restoration work on the Bankura Saltora Road. The project involves the restoration of flanks between chainage 3.00 km and 7.00 km by dressing and chilchalling.

Tender Details

• Work: Restoration of flanks by dressing and chilchalling
• Estimated Value: Rs. 79,056.00
• Earnest Money: 2% of the estimated value (in the form of a Bank Draft)
• Tender Submission: Sealed tenders in W.B.F.NO.2911 + 2911 (i) + 2911(ii)
• Start Date for Dropping Tenders: August 12, 2024, from 11:00 AM
• Last Date for Dropping Tenders: August 22, 2024, up to 3:00 PM
• Tender Opening: August 22, 2024, after 3:30 PM

Eligibility Criteria

• Completed Work Credentials: Tenderers should provide credentials of similar completed work with a minimum value of 30% of the estimated amount or two similar completed works each with a minimum value of 25% of the estimated amount, within the last five years.
• Running Work Credentials: Tenderers with a single running work of similar nature completed to 75% or more and valued not less than the desired value are also eligible.
• Additional Requirements: Tenderers must submit copies of valid PAN Card, Income Tax acknowledgment, Professional Tax clearance, and GSTIN along with the latest GST return.

Submission Process

Tenders must be submitted in a two-bid system:

• Technical Bid: Contains application letter, self-attested photocopies of PAN Card, Income Tax acknowledgment, Professional Tax clearance, Trade License, and GSTIN.
• Financial Bid: Contains Tender Form (W.B.F. No-2911), Tender Document, and Earnest Money in the form of a Bank Draft.

Both sealed envelopes (Technical Bid and Financial Bid) should be placed in a single big sealed envelope and dropped in the Tender Box at the Assistant Engineer's office.

Important Notes

• The Assistant Engineer reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason.
• Additional performance security will be obtained from the successful bidder.
• The agency must arrange for bitumen, bituminous emulsion, Concrete Mixer/Mobile HMP, Centigrade Thermometer, and Spring Balance at their own cost.
• Payment will be made after deducting 18% GST and 1% cess.
• The Defect Liability Period (DLP) will be as per the notification.
